Thanks for all the great posts, greatly appreciate them.
I have a need for some help on setting up Foreign Tables as Input Tables.
I have been using the Data Access Tools Guide published by Oracle and available at otn.oracle.com under Documentation. I am trying to create access to Foreign Tables on our A7.3 install of JDE.
Following the guide,
I have my ODBC datasource setup and working.
I have created my DB datasource and it can connect without any problem.
I have created (read, copied) a new environment using DV812 as the template. I left the check box checked that will create all the necessary OCM records.
When I run the Table Conversion Director, identifying the Input and Output environments, it fails to 'initialize the input environment'. I am not sure what else to do since I am sharing the DV812 pathcode and db datasources. Are there settings on the client I need to set so it sees it as a valid environment?
Thanks in advance.
