Supplemental Data For Inventory Management

We are considering using the Supplemental Data for Inventory Management
to store additional information that can not be stored in the item
master (longer description text, and other fields of information).

Is there anyone currently using this? What are some pros and cons?

Supplemental Data is a great addition to setup without programming. You can
customize UDCs, setup MSDS sheets, whatever you wish.

We use it for documentation for price and cost changes, and other features.


The setup is relatively easy. Please contact me off list if you wish to
talk more.

You can connect to programs, notes, or custom UDC codes.
