Quick question do you have to set selection append in ER before every set user selection?

no, just once before you issue any set user selection statements.

Depends what you want to do.

In case you want to append all the subsequent set user selections, you have
to use set selection append flag only once at the very beginning.

Please tell us what your scenario is and you could get the complete answer.

Hey,

What was the original issue?

It is a really strange thread starting with Jeremey's question:

"Quick question do you have to set selection append in ER before every set user selection?"

and continues with Tom's answer:

"no, just once before you issue any set user selection statements."

It is clear, isn't it?

Hey,

That is the issue I was asking. I just prefaced it that way. Sorry it seems strange, just the way I talk sometimes.

I got the answer I was asking for. Now it is a matter of me trying to figure out what I screwed up in my event rules. :)

What I wanted was just clarification that if I have 15 "set user selections" or only 1 "set user selection", I only need 1 "set selection append" flag

Does that make it clearer or am I only confusing everybody? If so, sorry I don't mean to:)

Hi Jeremey and JDEList,

Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me ...

I was too fast reading the post and I missunderstood it:
"do you have set the selection"
instead of
"do you have to set selection"
Yes, and my English :)

Excuse me again,

Zoltán

Zoltan,

We are all entitled to a little lapse of sanity......That's why we are in the computer industry:)

Just look at the response my boss sent to me through the list because he was not paying attention - it's in the oneworld list in the line printer thread)
