select records where coulmn = null in bsfn?

I have a req to select records from table where a column = null inside bsfn? Any help will be appreciated!

Hi,

Its from C BSFN. This fields is a sting. Table is getting inserted from Oracle Database triggers. Since this field is not in the insert statement it is inserted as null in the table. But i have requirement to select, where this field is null and updte to another value.
