Sales Automatic Header to Detail populate

I'm doing a retrofit from B7332 to Xe. In the sales order header there is a form exit called Define. It sets up the automatic population from header to detail fields (if I'm reading it correctly). My production environment lists 29 fields (which are populated from UDC 42/DF). Xe correctly copied the 29 entries in the UDC table but the business function N4002380 thinks there are only 28. Can anybody give me the thumbnail description of what the problem is? By the way, the 29th column is VR01. - I'm going to post this on the tech side as well because I'm not sure if this is a tech for functional question.

Well the problem was found. It turns out that we had modified the business function to do the work. Isn't JDE wonderful? They provide a UDC for the columns you want to include, then they hard code the columns into the business function. I should have suspected.
