RES: SP17.1 for JAS...

Hi Scotti,

I am no WEB guru at all, but yesterday I got JAS SP17 up and running. I had
very good help from R/L Denver. Here are some tips:

1. I had problems with Fixpack 4 for Websphere. After getting ok from Denver
I got Fickpack 5 and it installed much smoother.
2. Get a recent Install manual from the KG. The one that came on my SP17 CD
was incomplete, at times plain wrong.
3. My command line string is:
-noclassgc -Xbootclasspath/a:c:/JDEdwardsOneWorld/B7333/internet/jas/nulltoo
lkit.jar -classpath
c:/JDEdwardsOneWorld/B7333/internet/xerces.jar;c:/JDEdwardsOneWorld/B7333/in
ternet/xalan.jar

Has anyone else installed SP17.1 for JAS yet? I'm having trouble generating
afterwards.
I suspect either the Classpath in WebSphere (the instructions for the
changes to it were
quite unclear) or my gen.bat. If anyone's installed 17.1 (or even 17, as I
think the instructions
were the same) and can send me the classpath line and gen.bat files they're
using,
I'd really appreciate it.
