RES: Database Move causing problems

Vivek,

check your servers JDE.INI, if there is an extra 'b' in one of the 'Default
Pathcode' settings.
Check your pathcode master for the extra 'b'.

On your workstation, is it 'b7\py7333' or 'b7\pyb7333' ?

Gerd

Assunto: Database Move causing problems

We have 2 enterprise servers. First one (Kimosabe) has PY,DV,JD environments
and the second one (Hangman) has only PD environment. All Sys,SVM,OBJ and DD
setting are stored in the separate Database. Initially this database was
lying on First(Kimosabe) Server and then we moved this database from
Kimosabe to Hangman and changed the OCM mapping and Data sources
accordingly.
However after making these changes, UBEs are runing fine locally for PY,DV
environment. However whenever when we try to run the UBEs on Server then we
get the following errors.

TAMInitX: Error opening index file
"d:\jdedwardsoneworld\ddp\b7333\pyb7333\spec\gbrlink.xdb" : The system
cannot find the path specified. WinErrNum=3. No such file or directory. Std
C errno=2. (d:\jdedwardsoneworld\ddp\b7333\pyb7333\spec\gbrlink.xdb)

This pathcode in First server(Kimosabe) does not contain the letter b in
pyb7333. The path code is
d:\jdedwardsoneworld\ddp\b7333\py7333\spec\gbrlink.xdb. So can somebody can
tell me how this b letter is coming into picture.

UBEs run fine for PD environment.

Thanks
