Hi All,
I didn't get the original post that started this thread or would have added
my 2 cents earlier. We are currently using this very same technique to
access some "external" Oracle tables. The KEY THING we found is to make sure
that USER JDE has privileges for the new view/table that you are using as
your table. We just got through creating a new view/table and ran into this
little roadblock and it took a little head scratching for us to resolve as
the people who had originally utilized the technique were all gone.
