RE: 5250 emulators

I have used Mocha for a long time and have been pleased with it. It
supports SSL, and has a nice printer feature. Nexus (www.nexit.no) also
does a nice job, and is inexpensive.

One warning - these other inexpensive emulators don't do file transfer other
than perhaps FTP style. Client Access does more complex file transfers,
like downloading a file directly into delimited format, or even into Excel
format. With the others, if you have packed fields you may have difficulty.
So - keep CA around for these types of tasks.

Mocha is also a very small size, compared to CA's huge install. Mocha only
requires port 23 for telnet or 992 for SSL telnet. CA requires other ports
for 'logging in'. So, Mocha and the other vanilla telnet emulators are
easier to configure over the internet.
