R42520 is not splitting the line if less quantity is available

Hi Regards,

We have an issue.
Print pick slip is not splitting the lines if some quantity is in back order.
For example;
Suppose 20 quantity of an item is ordered, however only 10 quantity is available at the time of Print pickslip(R42520)
Ideally Print Pick slip program has to split this item into two line one at committed(Quantity 10) and other at back order(remaining quantity).
in our case R42520 is committing the whole order(i.e Quantity 20) causing a negative commitment at Item Availability.

Could anybody please suggest the possible reason why R42520 is not splitting the lines.

JDE System is XE

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
It sounds like there is some availability checking that isn't quite right. Does the P4210 show that some of the qty is backordered and some is available (qty shipped)?
Do you have your R42520 version set to hard commit?

yes we have set Procesing option to hard commit.
Some quantity showa in Ship to bucket & remaining in Back order
