Problem with report

Hi, I'm new in JD Edwards, I'm trying to change a report this report creates a TXT file when it is sent to the screen or csv file. I want to know where to look to find the template and the link that creates the TXT in the report automatically.
I'll appreciate your help.
 
Hi Javier, afraid we'll need a bit more info. Is this a custom report (55-58) of a standard one. There are a couple of ways that textfiles can be created and will need to know what we're dealing with.
 
Hi Steve, is a Custom Report (55) uses a bussines view created by our former JD Edwards expert.
When the report es generated either to the screen or csv the data is correct but the TXT file created doesn't has the same data (columns). I don't know where to modify the process that creates the TXT file automatically in the Report writer .
 
Hi

If you want to send the data to a TXT file while your report pops up, use Database Output option (from Section menu) and give the file path where to create the TXT file.
