Problem getting services to start correctly on the 400

We are having problems with our AS/400 services not starting. It starts the JDEB8334 and the SENTINEL and nothing else. The only thing that we know that changed is that a drive was starting to fail.

We are getting a couple of messages in the logs.

Is the security server on another server? I was having a very similar problem. Services were working on our development server one minute, the next minute they went down and would not restart correctly, with errors saying it could not contact System - B7333. We ended up putting on a PTF that was already on the JDE-IBM APAR website: SI14585
 
We just upgraded our OS from V5R1 to V5R3. We are having the issue with Security server not starting all other services are starting correctly. We are looking everyewhere for a fix. I am trying to find if there is a PTF we are missing? What version of OS do you have?

Anyone found any new PTF fro V5R3? Our scenario is Development box just upgraded to V5R3 + SP23_I2 while Production box has been maintained on V5R1 + SP22_I1. Development box is not being being able to get to data on Production box (System Data Source) to validate stuff needed for security and all services coming up properly. Anyone knows how to get information of what is going on inside those EDRSQL server proccesses? We see them active but don't know how to see what is going on in order to trace the issue....
