People,
I am wondering if anyone has any detailed information on how PSE1 uses the Forecast Type in the R13411 Preventative Maintenance Projections.
I am assuming all projections for future maintenance requirements (as generated by Work Orders) are based on history. Am I wrong?
How does the projection program take into account forecast increases in the usage of an asset (if the driver of maintenance is hours or tonnes for example)?
A project for example may forecast to put on extra shifts and utilise equipment to a greater degree thus requiring a different maintenance pattern to that used historically.
