Hello Friends,

I created BOM and routing for a kit item. Then i entered a work order for that kit item to which the parts list is not getting attached whereas routing is getting attached.
Please guide how to proceed further in this regard.

Check your version of R31410 that you are running to see if the processing
option is set to attach the parts list... let me know. thanks, Bobby

Hi ame,

I checked with the R31410 processing options, in which the options is set to print parts list and routing.

If i am printing the work order for other than kit item the parts list is getting attached.

Dear all,

The most common cause of the Parts List not getting created is that the Date on the WO (Start or End) does not fall within the Date Effectivity of the Bill of Material.

The settings in the R31410 for Printing are irrelevent. Check the first Processing Option Tab. The very first Option is Option blank, 1, 2 or 3 for Attach Parts List or Route or Both or neither. Check those options and your dates. A common problem in Equipment Work Orders in World was that the WO Date would default to blank - something that doesn't happen in Manufacturing.

So you are trying to build Kits through the MFG process?
