Override Advance Pricing

I have set up rebates and commission accruals in advance pricing. However, if I over-ride the price on a sales order I lose the accruals. Is there a work-around allowing users to over-ride a price but keep the commissions and rebate calculations.

Yes! Have them override the price in the price history window, instead of
on the order line itself. You need to setup the adjustments for base price
and discounts to allow manual override in the Adjustment Name file (F4071).
I usually use advanced pricing for the base price, so if you aren't, I'm not
so sure that you can override the base price from the F4106 in the Price
History window.

A future release of JDE will have a flag at the Adjustment Name level to
keep accruals and rebates even if you override the price on the Sales Order
line.

we actually did this at another client... what we had to do is set up a
report (either OW or WW/DW) that would clear the flag in the F4211 that gets
set when someone manually updates the pricing. We would then rerun advanced
pricing but update the "cost" instead of the price... this seemed to reset
the pricing as well... just a shot. thanks, Bobby

What you can do:

add an extra adjustment to your schedule for which you allow manual
overrides; during order entry you take the exit to 'pricing history', you
add an amount for your new adjustment. This amount will be reflected in your
unit price. All other adjustments stay in effect in this way.
