OutputDirectory

On WTS, we want the JDE.INI to point to an OutputDirectory that is the user's home directory as specified by WTS.

However.... For FAT people, we do not want this line in the JDE.INI.

So... I take it the JDE.INI is part of the package? Or general install process? How do I "publish" a JDE.INI that is separate for these types of clients?

This is a MIME message. If you are reading this text, you may want to
consider changing to a mail reader or gateway that understands how to
properly handle MIME multipart messages.

Change the jde.ini file on your WTS machine(s), not on the Deployment =
Server (which is used by package deployments).

Jack,

this is the method we use:

Changing .ini file.

1. Set Windows Terminal Server to ‘install’ mode
2. Find the jde.ini on your server: C:wtsrv\jde.ini
3. In [Network Queue Settings]: insert:-

outputdirectory=p:\public.
(or the path that you require)

4. Save settings and exit the .ini file and exit OW.
5. Put server in execute mode.
6. The pdf files should now save to the user's p:\public drive

You will need to do this after every time you install a full package on the
Server.

Hope this helps
