ND and Websphere on different machines

Hi list,
Our System Details:
Windows 2003/Oracle 9205/8.11 SP1 8.96B1/8.96J6.B1
I have installed PeopleSoft JAS on one server and Network Deployment on another server. The IBM Http server is on the ND server. I have done the settings in httpd.conf file of ND server but still unable connect to the JAS on other server. The services are up and running on both the servers. Following is the installation procedure followed as mentioned in the PeopleSoft guides.
1> Installed ND 6.0 -> 6.0.2 -> 6.0.2.7. Installed IBM HTTP Server 6.0 on this server -> IHS 6.0.2 -> IHS 6.0.2.7. Installed Plugins 6.0 -> 6.0.2 -> 6.0.2.7

2> Installed Websphere 6.0.2 -> 6.0.2 -> 6.0.2.7 on another server.

The Refresh packs and Fix Packs were applied together on all the above. i.e the version status movement was parallel for all the softwares.

3> Installed another Plugins for remote on ND server. Copied and Executed the configuretestws1.bat on the Websphere server

4> Federated the Websphere node on ND server
5> Installed PeopleSoft JAS on Websphere Server from ND Server with Network Deployment option. The Installation selected the node on Websphere server and webserver also from the Websphere Server (installed in step 3)

6> Regenerated the plugins and deployed them

7> Done the neccesary changes in the httpd.conf file of ND server.

8> Restarted all servers and tried to access the Peoplesoft JAS env. But its not displaying the login page.

Please help me to sort out this issue.

Since you are using the ND server as your IHS server, it sounds like the static file servlet has not been setup. Refer to page 50 of the install guide. Additionally, in the past, I have had to copy the index.html and its directory path (copy only this file) onto the HTTP server. Additional tweaking may be needed as well. Good luck.
