Long Term Projects

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who is using JDE to track long term Projects. Which modules are you using, how are you issuing parts to the project, and how are you billing?

What's your definition of long term? I have a client where some of their
projects can last a year or more. They are using Job Cost and procurement
to track the jobs... They currently don't bill for these projects because
they are internal, however you could use Contract Billing to handle that
piece of it. Let me know. thanks, Bobby

Thanks for your reply. Long term meaning a year or more. Do you have experience with external projects, where you may be required to ship goods to the Job Site and Invoice as well?

I have done some of that... but on short term projects... what's your
concern with the longer term projects? Keeping them open that long?
