Locking of a Parts List

Hi List,
I want to Lock the Parts Lists attached to a Work Order. To achieve this I have set up the Lock Flag in P4826 at the desired Work Order Status. Still the Locking of Work Order dosent seems to be working and I can modify it.
Can anyone suggest something on this issue.
