Does anyone know of a way to put a specific line on a Sales Order on hold, and not put the entire order on hold?

Hi there, although the automatic Sales Order Hold Code functionality can write to the Hold Code file (F4209) at Order or Line Level, the Hold Code on the Order is a Header field in the F4201. So if Order is On Hold, all lines are On Hold. As Don has mentioned above, using a Next Status to stop some of the lines progressing is an "out of the box" way to perhaps consider as a method to "stop" some lines from progressing.

Yes, it is possible to put a specific line on a Sales Order on hold without putting the entire order on hold. One way to achieve this is by using the order management system (OMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software that your business uses.

Agree the status codes are the only work around we can think of.
