Not an iSeries issue - it's the app. Somebody isn’t releasing handles appropriately (bad install?) and the handles keep accumulating. Eventually, they exhaust maximum resources and get the message “Internal handle array full”. I am guessing that this limit is pretty generous so it probably takes them a while to reach the limit.

Perhaps a simple restart will take care of it. If not, you may have to reinstall this environment.

I had a similar problem and my enterprise ISeries server stopped running BSFN's on the server but LOCAL BSFN's were OK. There seems to be an article in the knowledge garden that may address this issue. The solution ID is 200989281. Not sure if this will fix the issue but I am going to try it.
