Hi Srinivas,

Is it satisfactory solution to save Excel into a .CSV format and use it as input in Table Conversion?

Regards,

Zoltán

Srinivas,

I have to, steadily, agree with Zoltan's simplicity.

In Excel, File->save as->File Name = whateveryoucallit->Save As Type = CSV.

Your TC will only work LOCALLY - unless you have the means to place
the CSV to your server.... The basic server naming conventions will
need to be applied.

You could also create an application over a work file. Within this application you will be able to add records. You can then import the excel file into a grid, as if you were entering each record individually, then click OK and this adds the records to the work file. Then call a program from a form - Exit button that inserts the records from the work file into the JDE file. We do this to load corporate tax ID's. If you would like more detailed information let me know

Hi eriley,

Thank you for the information. I resolved that issue by saving Excel sheet in to CSV format and then Using Table Conversion.

Thanks once again.

Srinivas

This is a very interesting position, Srinivas.
You take the time to thank eriley, however you do NOT take his nicely explained solution, but you go Zoltan's way, however you do NOT thank him, at all!
How could such a thing happen?
Please do balance the equation.
