IBAN Standard

I searched the forum and never found anyone mentioning this, so I
thought I would throw this out. Is anyone dealing with (or begun to deal
with) the IBAN standard that is now being used in Europe? There are two
items I have found on the KG about it so far. SAR#6703559, and paper
OFN-03-0061.=20
For those unfamiliar with this, it is a new format for bank files that
are sent between different countries. JDE/Peoplesoft is not supporting
it in Xe (only B8.9 and forward), so we would have to retrofit the
system to accommodate this.=20
I am just trying to determine the scope of this retrofit. If anyone is
doing this, what program(s) did you have to retrofit? At minimal, it
would be the Create Payment Group (R04570), and then the various UBE's
that create the bank tape file for each country, for example for France
it would be R04572F1..
Has anyone tackled this issue with Xe?=20

Hi jgersic93
If no one else answers this one - ask me again in about a month or so. The next phase of my current project is tackling BACs/Chaps through most of Middle/Eastern Europe including intermediaries. On the AR side we are already quoting IBAN numbers.
