How to reassign BU cat code to new cat code

in E1 8.12 cat code 21 is already populated and assigned to existing BU. I want to transfer the content from cat code 21 to cat code 22 but I also want to keep the same referential integrity in the assigned business units after copying the table 00/21 to 00/22 . Is there a global update program for this?
