General ledger update pdf is blank

You should give the full context along with E1 config details in your post.
Check the work center in your login which can give you more info on errors.

Sorry wasn't able to give much more details earlier. actually the issue was to do with journaling on the iseries server, it was resolved by running the report locally from a fatclient which switched on the journalling and report ran fine.
