Export grid to Excel with 2 digit year interpretation

Exporting a grid (from web) with 2 digit year notation (eg. 16-12-60, representing 16th decemeber 2060) to excel, results in date 16-12-1960, regardless of my local windows 2 digit year interpretation (Regional Settings). The julian date in the dabase is correct.

Is there a setting within PE1 that needs to be set, or is something wrong woth the code that is used in the background to export the data? Or something else?

(PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne 8.93_I1, W2K3.)

Hi Bob,
try change the range in Windows Control panel -> regional and langauge
options -> regional options -> customize -> date.

So, that did not help.

Forgive if I'm missing the question...but once the data is in Excel, it's just a matter of formatting. The data in the field is the same regardless, it's just a matter of either choosing or creating a numeric date format that only displays the two digit year.

Bob,

check the Default Value setting for CENTCHG in the data dictionary.

Hi Larry,

You are right, as usual

Also useful to check the default value of DCYR Data Item in Data Dictionary.
