ESU JD13750

I applied the ESU to the DEV pathcode, and then proceeded to build a
full package for DEV. This is when I received the errors. From
discussions with JDE, they are saying it is a date issue. The issue of
the dates is causing some of the business functions not to be installed
(net change) as they should. I have since copied the source/include/obj
files that were associated with the failing functions from the
13750/planner package to the DEV pathcode and then attempted a busbuild
on the deployment server in dev, same issue - which is weird since I
would think it would have been resolved with copying those files back
over..

I think it is highly recommended that you do apply Planner ESU to other pathcodes as there are some business functions which are used in "normal" operation with a standard environment

When I applied this ESU recently, because of the OMW changes, I promoted the ESU as far as DV and performed a full DV package build - but its not necessary to rebuild the package in PY or PD unless you REALLY want to use the toolset in those pathcodes.

JDE should have kept OMW changes out of the planner ESU IMHO - created a seperate ESU.

Just a side note on what jgersic was saying about the date issues. JDE has just come out with a new philosophy on how ESUs and ASUs are to be installed/promoted. Take a look on the Knowledge Garden for the updated docs. By following the instructions in those docs, the date issue isn't supposed to be a factor anymore.
