errors while doing a find on an app

Hi,

One of our customized application which we recently deployed on Citrix and Web is throwing some JAS errors on the web. Basically when we open that application on the web and do a find it pops up a JAS_MSG346 Database error. The JAS log has numberous instances of an error as listed below :

20 Sep 2007 05:53:16,602 [ Worker Thread - OWVirtual_Thread_Group9 Assigned To com.jdedwards.runtime.virtual.OWVirtual@51c2b4] ERROR: {com.jdedwards.jas.JDBCProxy} - JDBj database operation failed.
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 11 >= 11

Basically the issue is only on the web and on citrix it is working fine. We have generated the new app and the associated objects (a business view and a bsfn) but the issue still persists.

Can you please suggest what might be causing the issue?

I am not too experienced in your scenario, but have you already try to delete all User Overrides on the affected Form / Application (if there is any at all)?

I hit something LIKE this a while ago.

I had a 30 character string, that I was using as a 15, 2 char "array".

I found that I was exceeding the size of the "array",
either by substring beyond eo-string (30),
or trying to "save" beyond eo-string (30).

Full client rolled w/it, HTML didn't.

The fact that the error mentions an index makes it seem similar.
