Is anyone using the service order piece of CSMS for Plant and Equipment Management instead of work orders; and the installed base setup instead of the equipment master?
Service orders expect to be billed via CSMS however you can get around this by modding the R48120 to select GLBC = I or switch the document type to be not equal to a CSMS doc type P40040. We used to use the later however the after upgrading to XE update 4 other issues encountered therefore switched to the first option.
Thank you, this report (R48810 is what we need). We have not installed the
Plant and Equipment Module yet. But if we go with the new way JDE is
suggesting - using service orders from CSMS (instead of work orders) and
using installed based management, instead of equipment management. Is there
a similar program to R48810, that will update service orders ?????
