Deploment Server Restore

Somehow my deployment server ended up in an SMS collection and hence
received a production package. Now it's a client and not a deployment
server. Anyone know how to recover from this? I know I've got to recover the
jde.ini but do I need to restore the registry or license files?

Thanks

Colin :

I assume that the C++ and DBMS client on the Deployment haven't been
affected by this accident. If so, reinstall them on the original folders.
You have to :
a) Insert OneWorld Setup CD 1, call Denver, and install it on the
original location. This will create your registry entries and licensing.
b) Restore \b7333 share from tape or wherever you have saved it.
c) Restore original c:\winnt\jde.ini
d) Share the \b7333 again.
e) Relicense your workstations.

Thanks Sebastian, I think I got it. I just restored the c:\winnt\jde.ini and
restored the registry from backup. All the deployment server entires still
existed however the client package install added a few entries that I
figured really shouldn't be there. My SMS packagers actually just made a
mistake when writing a query (All Systems instead of All Workstations) which
is how the package got sent to a server in the first place.
