Hi,
From what I tried last year, Cross Reference cannot work on the Demo version - not sure if this is still true (needs 5GB of HDD?) You can only use it on the Server version. Furthermore, the Rebuild UBE can only be run 'Locally', and not to the 'Server'. It might also need 5GB of HDD. Not sure if that setup document oti-00-0121 is still on the KG.
