Sully :
1. It takes 30' to apply it (don't forget to read pre and post installation
instructions).
It can be applied while users are working.
2. In case of problem, the best way to go back is to restore \b7333\planner
folder and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JDEdwards entries. Planner ESUs also modify
regular objects
on the installation pathcodes, thus be sure to SAVE this objects (using OMW)
before applying
ESU Planner on a specifical pathcode. In case of problem, RESTORE them from
OMW.
3. Major gotchas with Planner ESUs arise from missing pre and post
installation tasks.

Asunto: Baseline ESU JD18810
I want to apply the latest planner and JD 18810 to the Pristine environment
and have some questions.
1. How long does JD18810 take to apply? Can I do it during the day? While
JDE is up?
2. If for some reason I need to un-install the basline what would be the
best way. Use the JDE tool or restore from backups?
3. Are there any gotcha on the planner ESU and can it be installed when the
system is up?
Thanks
Patty
