As of File F41112 business function

Hi, I am doing a DW project and need to retrieve the item's opening balance and as of current quantity. For example, now is sept 2006, I will need to retrieve the opening balance, and the sum of the quantity from Jan Till Aug. Is there any business function I can use? I searched but to no avail. Without BSFN, I will have to do a lot of IF-ELSE to filter off those non relevant bucket.

We dont have a BSFN to retrieve As of quantity or As of amount information for a perticular period. We need to write a custom NER to meet the current needs.

i think you only need 12 IF-ELSE statements....

Yes you are correct. It is just 12 if else statements. If it is required to use the same logic in multiple locations, then it is good have a NER
