I saw that too this morning and passed it on to our people.
It could be a good thing or a bad thing.
Let's just hope they don't try to can World and agree to keep up the
investment in it as JDE has been doing lately.

Yeah... and what better timing, just before the User Conference next week. I'll be there and it ought to be "interesting". I doubt World has much of an life at PeopleSoft so I wonder what will happen to "us". My boss has already pulled his hair out this morning. This might just push him into retirement early.

So Eric, when are you going to change the name to PeopleList??

I’m sure that the people at Peoplesoft will give due consideration to the plight of the World users – just as JD Edwards have done !

They’ll more than likely spin it off as a separate company or just sell the World part of the business to existing AS/400 ERP players like SSA or Geac ??
