Hi all,
Just wanted to post an FYI about an issue we have come accross in a recent 9.00 upgrade. We were seeing UBEs occassionaly crash with stackdumps pointing to JDECache APIs. There was no pattern or cause we could figure out and it never happened when running locally. Eventually, we found Oracle doc 1265983.1 which pretty much described our issue. Applying the workaround (disabling the management kernel on the enterprise server) has solved the issue (so far, knock on wood) and it is apparently fixed in 8.98.4.
Hope this helps someone,
Craig
