1099 Processing

Yesterday when our finance team was processing 2005 1099 it was discovered that all the records are not being picked up. Has anyone seen this, I have applied the 1099 ESU for 2005.

Please advise ASAP as the 1099 deadline was yesterday.

I am having a problem in this area. I had already mailed the 1099's when I discovered the problem. So far I have determined that if we made a progress payment on a subcontract and held retention, the Update Payments (R04513) part of the 1099 process is not considering the retention held back. Also, if in a prior year we held retention but paid it in 2005, it isn't including that payment. I opened a call and they have issued an urgent SAR, but since this impacts only a small subset of my vendors, I am planning to type paper 1099's, but I'm hopeful this will be corrected before I have to file electronically.
