RE: World SIGs
Dear "[email protected]",
Let me acknowledge first that Quest is extremely interested in facilitating
SIG activity during the upcoming MUG conference as well as other
conferences.
Second, rooms are available at the upcoming MUG conference for SIG
participation. To date, the Automotive SIG has scheduled meeting time. Any
additional rooms will be utilized in a "birds of a feather" format similar
to FOCUS where topics and topic times are set for collaboration.
Third, all SIGs with the exception of The OneWorld Technical SIG are both
WorldSoftware and OneWorld specific. As rehashed on this listserv several
months ago, both J.D. Edwards and Quest have met and elected to create the
World Advisory Council (WAC) to address any WorldSoftware specific issues in
light of the promise from the podium by J.D. Edwards leadership.
Finally, if you plan to attend the MUG conference in early December and
would like a particular SIG to meet, this can be accomplished by contacting
each SIG president direct or facilitated by communicating with the correct
Quest department. Their (SIG Presidents & Staff) contact information can be
easily obtained from the Quest website. If you have any further questions
concerning SIGs or the enhancement process, I encourage you to communicate
direct with Viki Young. If a forum is necessary for WorldSoftware specific
issues, Viki can help facilitate meeting space if coordinated appropriately.
