FormScape with One World Invoicing

Hello All,

I am wondering if anyone out there is using FormScape with One World
invoicing. I have an as400 for my enterprise server and am having
problems getting the PDF to move from the outq on the 400 to the
FormScape server. Any ideas?

Hi,

We are in the same place as you. We are moving to OneWorld and we have decided not to customize the invoice program and to use Formscape to rearrange the fields. Maybe we can brainstorm and figure this out. Do you know if we need to create an outq on the 400 to send the PDFs to?

I believe so. That is what I did. I created a printer on OW with the
same name as my outq on the 400. I also know you have to use an output
router which I think I have configured correctly, but yet I still get
the job stuck in send mode in the outq. I can send you more detail if
you want on how to create the output router.

we resolved this issue years ago when we first went live with our AS/400. We simply put in place a cheap NT OneWorld application server that was dedicated to printing invoices and checks. This application is also the FormScape server.

You just need to set up a remote output queue from the AS/400 that points to your formscape server. Just make sure you set up the printer in OneWorld to point to this outqueue and that you go through the filter program for the conversion.
