Deployment Server Upgrade

We are looking to upgrade our deployment server from NT SP6 to Windows 2000.
Can we run a straight upgrade process or do we have to setup with a fresh
install of W2000 and use the process of "changing out a deployment server"?

If I were you, would do a fresh install.
In order to easier your work, check that the new Deployment has the
same machine name and disk partitions than the previous one.
