Page number

How do you add page numbers for the following scenario?

We have a 20 page document, the first three pages are instruction, we want the page number to start on p4 of the document and for it to show as p1. I managed to do this in word, but once the document is loaded into PS, they revert back to the page numbers counting the three instruction pages. Thanks for any help on this.

Hi Dan, what exactly is being referred to as "PS", and where does the document originate?

Yeah, it should be a Word funcion. In the Page 4 insert a new section and numerate from this one. Probably check first Page different in the pagination. What do you referred as PS. If you export as PDF works?

We use Oracle/Peoplesoft

Dan, this forum is focused mostly on users of Oracle/JD Edwards, which also uses BI Publisher. Having said that, there might be somebody here that can be helpful. In JDE, my approach is usually to have the report writer tool produce the XML with the desired page number.
