Jobs are going in S status “in queue”

We have a issue

Jobs are going in S status “in queue” after new logic server installation & changes

We are on windows platform with sql database

Is the queue in an active status?

Yes Active, After bouncing the services the jobs are processing well.But why the issue is occuring any idea?

the queue was busying,just wait

Hung deployment?

We waited for 1/2 hr then bounced the services, Any idea why the issue is occuring?

Anything in the log(s)?

See posts 148161 and maybe 87077 for some reasons the S is appearing.

When we have jobs stuck in W status (usually after holding the queues), I edit each job record, decrease the priority, then save the record. We don't use Priority values normally. This resets the job, and makes it run.
Haven't tried it on S jobs.
