I Cannot add batch version.

Dear All,

I have problem about PeopleSoft E1 8.10.
I can create new Batch, but I cannot add batch version (P98305).
How to solve this problem ??? Please help me.

What does it mean exactly "I can not add"?

I login to environment PY810.
I try to create Batch Application from OL (P98220) and success. But, when I try to Add Version from BV (P98305), the version there no.

But, if I login to environment PD810, I have no problem to create Batch Application and Add Version.

Please help me to solve the problem.

When I try to Add Version, I don't get error message.
But its version there no.

Hi Willy,

Are you sure, that the spec of the UBE exist on PY810 on the deployment server and on HTML Client? I suppose, you can check the first in F9861 table on 8.10 too as on XE.

Platform : W2k server,
Tools Release : 8.93.
From BV (P98305) I try to Add Version, I don't get error message, but its version there no.

Can you help me to solve this problem?

Note : Report which I present previously is report from jde.log.

Hi Willy,

#1. Does the Add Batch Version form pops up and can you hit OK?
#2. Try to select "All Versions" from the Form menu on Batch Versions and find again. Do you see your version?
#3. Check F983051 table in UTB. Do you find an entry for your version?

Sign onto the problematical environmen on your fat client and compare the local spec of your UBE against PD810, PY810 and DV810 central objects with Visual ER Compare tool. What is your result?

I suppose, your problem occurs on other Path Code, e.g. on DV810, PY810.

#1. Check, does the UBE spec exist on the affected Path Code.
- Check F9861 table
- try to Get or Check-Out the UBE

#2. Maybe OMW Activity Rules cause the problem. If you are experienced in them, check these too.

We work in B7333. I think you had Created the UBE with out the Processing Option Template. If you Create a UBE (report) without Processing Option Template (DS) then you have to create the Version while using the Report Design Director.

If you has not created the UBE without PO Template, You Create a dummy PO Template and add the same to your Report.
Then you will be able to create the Version.

specially to Ken Wong, Zoltan, Parthiban, Peter and Dave.
My problem has been solved.
I check at P00948 (Work With Release/Data Source Map) Version List, E810.
In Version list there no "Version - PY810", possible someone there is delete.
So..., I try to add "Version - PY810", and I get error message "Duplicate...,bla...bla...bla...
I check in database F00948, Version - PY810 is there, but field "Release Number" is blank.
So..., I try to update "Release Number" from database F00948, after that I try to Add Version from P98305, and succeed.
