Asset Transfer

Hi Everybody

Is it possible to use Asset Transfer Prog to transfer asset
betwenn companies of different Currencies

Hi ABM,

The system does not allow transfer of assets between companies having different base currencies.

The work arround for this what we did was, to dispose the assets from the original company and add the items as new assets to the new company.

Hi abm,
Yes what k124 is saying is correct because system does not allow any transactions between 2 different currencies means whereever we have 2 different currency in one transaction.
It may be AP/AR/GL system does not allow any transaction across currency / multi currency in same transaction.
And if you see transfer screen of FA there is no place to put currency & all.
I think method suggested by K124 is good & practical.
