Dear List,
What could be the different reason where the event Row Exit and Changed Async event will not get triggered even after you change the grid record??
Here is the issue :-
There's an application P3111 where you can manually assign Parts to work order (by typing each part on the grid lines) OR just COPY it from the BOM (in this case it takes it to a different screen and when you press OK it loads the P3111 grid automatically with the parts. The problem is when I change something on the automatically loaded grid record (in P3111) it does not do any validation. Basically it does not invoke the Row-Exit Asynv event at all. If I manually add the record in the grid it does do the validation by invoking the Row-Exit Asynv event.
Beacuse of the above issue I have realised then even when the Grid is (automatically loaded) with the parts and I press OK to save nothing gets saved. It seems it does not recognise the grid records which are automatically populated.
Any inputs, suggestions, directions will be greatly appreciated.
