Thanks for the replies so far - it seems though that this is a symptom of
mis-matches between the JD Edwards service pack levels on the deployment /
enterprise / JAS / generation machines.
The SP21J_RS6000 file which I expected to be the 'base' SP21 is actually
SP21_B1 according to the ptf.log file in the owhtml directory on the JAS
server (RS6000) whereas the deployment and enterprise (and therefore the
generation machine) are all at the base SP21 level.
The plan now is to apply E1 to all servers and see if this resolves it.
Will post the results.
