Work Order Approval Routing

In the work order approval routing definition screen, there is a place to define what the work order status will change to if it is rejected. My question is where is it defined what the status will be when the order is approved?

Our activity rules start defined as follows:
M --> MA
MA --> MH

When the WO is created, it is assigned an 'M' status and needs to be approved. When the order is approved, I would like the status updated to an 'MA', but it stays at 'M'. I know you can manually enter the next status when performing the approval, but I would like the system to automatically update the status based on these rules. Is this possible?
