Hello List:
We are currently contemplating a move from B7332 SP 18.1 to ERP8. Before we can even get there there are some hardware, O/S, service pack, etc. issues that I want to confirm, so here is our configuration:
AS/400
----------
V5R1M0 -- I am thinking V5R2 or higher
Disk capacity over 70% utilized
OW b733.2 SP is below 18
Deployment Server
-----------------------
Disk space is under 50 G
RAM is under 512
Window NT 4.0 SP 4
Other than recommending hardware/software upgrades to be ready for the update. Can you give me a ball park on the amount of time that this type of upgrade takes. I am running a prestine install (no modifications) and only have Financials at this stage.
Other questions:
1) Is this upgrade direct, i.e. dto I have to go to a base level of XE and then apply additional upgrades.
2) Would it be cleaner if I used the new Enterprise/deployment server.
