Transfer Activity Rules

Hi List,

We are at Service Pack Level SP22_Y1.
When Trying to create a new Transfer Activity rule it throws an error

"Error: OMW Mandatory Trans. Activity Rule Flag has an Invalid DataDictionary Value".

This is found to a be a Prob After SP21. However I couldnt get any resolution for the same , Can someone help me out..


This is what i found in Knowledge Garden

Unable to add a new transfer activity rule on SP21. Same
rule can be added on prior Service Packs. Get "Error: OMW
Mandatory Trans. Activity Rule Flag has an Invalid Data
Dictionary Value".

DESIRED OUTCOME:
To be able to add new transfer activity rules.

This issue was discovered and fixed while working on SAR
6459509. The ESU for that SAR will fix this issue.

Hey Freddy,

I know of this issue however not sure when they have fixed it . There is filed ( not sure what it called in the actual table which needs to be filled in before any activity rule can be put in place. However the application does not show this field. So it make it nearly impossible to add a new activity rule. I am not in E810 and E 811 and its all fixed.

In your release you can add the activity rule the dirty way ( which is directly to the database table). PLease make sure you have good backsup before you do any of this)

Hi,

I did mangae to ad few Transfer activity rules by the Dirty Way and it is working fine. thank you...

Will also try and see if its possible using the ESU
mentioned by Lalit.
