Salesman and Commission changes in 8.x

Howdy,

I'm currently working on retrofits from XE to an 8.10 implementation. The upgraded toolset is nice, functional and fairly close to what we've all been screaming for - for some time.

Contrary to what JDE had preserved in the past - the file structure of several files has changed. Currently I am working on Sales Order/Invoicing - so that is the area I need some help with.

Where did PPS replace the following:

F4201.CMC1
F4201.CMR1
F4201.CMC2

I think that's the big list (at least for the Sales Order Detail side).

Any help - direction or online docs - would be appreciated!

Hi,
In 8.9 the lot of tables have been added and the functionality has been improved.
If u r talking about the commission records, in this version there are 2 new tables have been added which contain the commision records(Salesman Information), so now there can be n number of salesman entry for a particular sales order, which was not there in ver 7.3
So those tables are F42150(Header) and F42160(Detail).
There is also another table comission History table same (I dont remember the name of that table).
what kind of information do u want. Now if u go to the sales order application, u will find the row exit for comissions.

Answers to things like:
1) Does F4211 Edit Line look up the salesperson / commission on the blanket when creating a release? (If the answer is Yes, this would eliminate having to pass in the SLSM.)

2) Are there new Business Functions to find the SLSM for an order and other similar functionality?

We are currently working this area in mid-conversion from B7333 to E810, and will post what we find. Hopefully, this will help those who have not yet experienced the joy of conversion.

BTW-just in case you've not heard this before - E810 objects, business functions, and code are all in UNICODE - whether or not you convert your business data to UNICODE.

I'm actually doing a conversion to a 8.11 system and experience some similar issues....

I didn't find that history comission table...If anybody can find me this information??

I'm also struggling to find the Line status (STTS) and the promised ship date (PSDJ)??
