RES: Add on Server

Sathya,
I think it's ok when the workbench run's only a couple of minutes. All it
does is creating some server map tables. Are you using the same table owner
for the server map for both ES?
There can be a thousand reasons for PORTTEST to fail on a newly added ES.
Give us some more information. Are you able to create log files when running
PORTTEST? What do the logs say? Are the services up ok?

Hi,
I have added one New Enterprise Server( windows 2000 advanced server,
DB2) to my existing Enterprise server( windows 2000 advanced server , sql
server) and deployment server (nt) for OneWorld Xe.

My installation workbench for my add on server plan finished in 5
minutes. Is that normal one.
I have created my new Enterprise server only for DV
envrionment.Now PORTEST fails .
Did any one tried this out and faced this problem.

Hi gerd,
Thankx for immediate response.

I have installed only DV environment. Yes server map tables got created in OWSH733 database. We started service in ES and it works fine.

But if i want to save my business datas in my new ES what shall i have to do as there no tables in my JDE_DEV database.
